Product description
This variety originates from North America where it is mainly found in the Rocky Mountains. Today about 120 species are common to the Aquilegia genus, all of which are native to the northern hemisphere. Although it is delicate in appearance, the Aquilegia is very robust and is suitable for both full sun and shaded locations.
This easy to care for plant, which provides lovely flowers for wild flower bouquets, is also ideal for small gardens or as a pot plant on a terrace or balcony. It is absolutely winter hardy and will reliably self-sow for years to come. This tussock-forming species reaches a height of 60-80 centimeters and a width of 25-30 centimeters.
